The 44220 Monoprice CNC router kit is conveniently small in size and light in weight. It offers an easy USB interface for programming. It uses GRBL control systems. It is a perfect CNC router machine for beginners and pros. The working area is 30x18x4.5cm, while the frame size is 40x33x24cm. Powered by a 775 spindle motor (12-36V) operating up to 9000 rpm and producing impressive stepper motor torque of 0.25Nm at 1.3A. It offers an emergency stop button port. It has a tool setting (probe) port with an X/Y/Z axis limit port. The fan port also helps with heat dissipation. This powerful desktop CNC machine is perfect for materials such as soft metals (e.g. copper, brass, and aluminum), plastic, wood, acrylic, PVC, PCB, and similar stock.

For under 200$ I wasn't expecting much. Looking for a training machine. As it turns out, it works very well. If you take your time, you can drill and cut aluminum, brass, and certainly wood. Be careful about purchasing bits/endmills that are too large, since this little machine only takes 1/8" shafts. My only gripe is there isn't an emergency stop, but the power switch is easy to use. I'm very happy with this CNC machine. It is very useful and quite capable. The assembly was easy.
